Tracking Reads collects only the information you give it. We do not sell it, share it, rent it, or disclose it to any third party for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.
We collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and Google account identifier. We store the books, notes, ratings, and tags you enter. Nothing more is collected. And if you sign in with Google, once you sign in, we send zero information to Google, zero, nada, zilch.
Quiet best suits the reading experience, and quiet best suits a site devoted to readers. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising networks of any kind. We do not embed social media buttons.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with any third party, with the sole exception of the authentication provider you choose to sign in with (Google, or our own email system). We do not share aggregated or anonymized data derived from your account.
If you choose to make your reading list public or to share it via a personal URL, that information becomes visible to whomever holds that link. This is entirely at your discretion. You can deauthorize that sharing link with a simple click at any time. Nothing is shared publicly without your explicit action.
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party cookies of any kind.
You may export all of your data at any time. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all information associated with it from our servers.
